Welcome to Marshdale PTA

The PTA is made up of parents, guardians and teachers who care deeply about the education and welfare of our 300+ students.  Our goal? To support Marshdale by funding and facilitating:

• Student enrichment activities such as the Science Fair, Arts Council, Reflections Contest and more.
• Teacher appreciation events to let teacher know how much we value what they do in the classroom every day.
• A commitment to fostering environmental stewardship through recycling programs, beautification of the courtyard and upkeep and development of the Mustang Trail.
• Communication with parents/guardians, including the Marshdale Hoofbeats newsletter and this website.

Learn and Be Heard

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in the PTA.  Here are a few ways to get involved:

• Attend the general meetings. Typically these meetings are the third Thursday of the month at 3:45 p.m. in the Marshdale conference room
• Join PTA.  Your membership entitles you to a Marshdale Directory, and your membership fee helps further the PTA's effort to support all aspects of student learning and enrichment at Marshdale.  CLICK HERE to download the PTA Membership Form.  Once you've printed and completed the form, you may return in to the school office with a check made out to 'Marshdale PTA.'

Meetings aren't your thing?  There are lots of ways to volunteer your time and talent to benefit Marshdale students.  CLICK HERE to take a look at all of the volunteer opportunities available to parents/guardians.  If you have one hour the whole school year or one hour per week - we appreciate whatever time you can give.
