Programs are provided by private companies, but held onsite at Marshdale for the convenience of our families. Reach out to the individual programs with specific questions. Contact us with general questions.

Students can join Afterschool enrichment throughout the semester.

  • Chess - The Knight School (Monday)

    The Knight School is a kid-centered "Chess Party"; we teach kids of all ages every cool trick, strategy, and tactic in chessdom, and our kids soon learn to love and master chess, their classroom, sports, and their home lives as well!

  • Evergreen Art School

    Ms. Jules is back for a 5th year at Marshdale! Join this interactive art class for all skill levels. Learn to draw and paint in a relaxed and fun environment with exciting themes.

  • Science Squad

    A hands-on adventure where students explore the wonders of physics, biology, chemistry, geology, and more through exciting experiments and activities, engineering challenges, and real-world discoveries. Every session is packed with fun, curiosity, and opportunities to think like a scientist!

  • Marshdale Singers

    Marshdale Singers is an extracurricular choir, led by Mrs. Gaffney, for 3rd-5th graders at Marshdale. We sing, we move, we perform, and we have a lot of fun! We perform for parents and Marshdale students.

  • Camp Brick LEGO - On Your Mark, Get Set... Build!

    A program designed for students who enjoy building LEGO® sets independently. Each week, students choose from a wide variety of themed sets, or dive into our "free build" LEGO® bins to create from their own imagination. Builders work independently or in small groups while Camp Brick instructors offer guidance, tips, and support. Occasional fun challenges add a social element, and students wrap up each class by sharing their creations.

  • Life Lab

    Led by Coach K, this is an action-packed, hands-on club where students build essential real-world habits through active movement, interactive skill labs, and play!

Wednesday

  • Overtime Athletics (Wednesday)

    Overtime Athletics (OTA) uses multi-sport programs & camps to benefit children physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. Our program introduces the fundamentals of 20 different sports (including Pickleball this year!) in a non-competitive environment. Children in Overtime Athletics routinely gain greater confidence and learn to combine fitness with fun.

  • Explore More! Nature Program

    The Audubon Society offers Explore More!, a 7 week program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. Each class consists of a short nature-based lesson followed by games, art projects, nature journaling and hikes, of course! Meets in a designated school location and then heads outside to explore.

  • GEMS Girls Club

    Through games, crafts, and fun activities, GEMS helps KG-5th grade girls build on their faith, develop lasting friendships, and connect with Christian mentors twice a month.

  • Coding & Robotics Club (K-2)

    Through hands-on learning and interactive projects, we nurture creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork in a fun and supportive environment. Each class will explore a variety of robotics and coding applications. Note two separate groups when registering - K-2 meets in Mrs. Boyce's room and 3-5 meets in the STEM lab with Coach K.
